Some kids HS seasons go till April.
Some kids played their first AAU tournament March 14.
When do these kids take time to just get better? This isn’t the kids, HS or AAU peoples fault it’s just a broken system.
Parents please! If your kid isn’t good, stop putting them on bad AAU teams just to play. If they are 9th grade and below and aren’t good…work on your child’s skills. Some of these “AAU” teams are atrocious. You’re hurting your kid more than helping them. It makes no sense at all
It’s way past time to pay high school coaches at a rate equal to minimum wage. The requirements of some sports places coaches at working at best for a couple of dollars an hour.
