✅ Enjoy a cup of coffee and reflect on the state of our government! Tea is slightly frowned upon, but still permissible as long as one doesn’t lift their pinkie or sip obnoxiously.
✅ Connect with your fav. gov. teacher (Me) to discuss the Constitution’s lessons yet to learn!
✅ If it’s blue, red, or white, yank out that Constitutional Tree from your attic to celebrate!
✅ Thank a police officer, lawyer, judge or public official for their service!
✅ Thank a veteran or active service member for protecting & defending the Constitution!
If you haven’t yet, “Ordinary Men” is now on Netflix and YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT!
Christopher Browning is a forerunner in the topic of the major atrocities of the “Forgotten Holocaust” and he’s a huge fan of mine & study and it’s such an interesting take on NSDAP history.
Here’s something cool to brighten your day!
The young lady in this image is a Peer Tutor student, working with a few students who needed some help on an assignment in the middle school. The student immediately went over to work with these young men one-on-one and took initiative!
High school sports are different.
That’s because they’re about teaching and growing more than winning and losing.
That’s why we call it the “second classroom.”
And you get to play a part. Come to one of our events!

This is a photo of Leo Tolstoy on the road, traveling from Moscow to Yasnaya Polyana in 1886. I was reading his novella, "Family Happiness" (1859), when I came across this passage that brought a sense of calmness over me when I needed it the most:
"I have lived through much, and now I think I have found what is needed for happiness. A quiet secluded life in the country, with the possibility of being useful to people to whom it is easy to do good, and who are not accustomed to have it done to them; then work which one hopes may be of some use; then rest, nature, books, music, love for one's neighbor - such is my idea of happiness. And then, on top of all that, you for a mate, and children, perhaps - what more can the heart of a man desire?"
Digging a bit further into his life, I discovered that Tolstoy was a vegetarian, which went hand-in-hand with his love for nature. While two of his children also took up the pledge to not eat meat, Tolstoy's wife and aunt did not. However, Tolstoy never pressured them to convert as he believed that people were accountable for themselves and had the right to make their own decisions. This, however, did not stop him from teasing them. One time when his aunt came over for dinner, she found a knife and a live chicken in her chair. "We knew you wanted chicken, but none of us would kill it," said Tolstoy.
Great PBS Article on Shotgun Sports in Minnesota! The Minnesota Clay Target League has more athletes in the state than entire staff and player rosters for football in that state, FYI.
Shooting sports are exploding in popularity w young people. Here's why https://t.co/TqBpEWmDoA
