High school football coaches might have the most important job in any community and it’s overlooked. They set the culture for the largest group of young men in a school. If they build good men, not just wins, that ripple hits families, schools, and the whole community.
Barstow!!
SS doesn't win as many titles as some other sections BECAUSE of the competitive equity system we use. It ain't the SD Section where 2 wins can win you a Championship. It's a 4 week gauntlet. Few sections do what SS does.
Stop hiring PowerPoint coaches you don’t win football games based off arts and crafts… can you run a room can you coach the game can you relate to kids/recruit if you want a power point made go work at office max
I did a study on So Cal Head Football Coaches hired from the 4 year level back in 2023.
These guys had just 3 winning seasons, among all of them.
And their average stay was just 24.9 months.
They were 113-168, won 40% of their games.

The data proves this . . . .
As a former Head Coach in CA I was paid cents an hour! Stipends are a joke! Our impact and why we coach, severely outweighs our compensation! AD’s and Principals are a joke as far as decision makers! @chriscfore@PAGMETER@TheRealCoach_JB Give us a platform!
