Knowledge is valuable. Application is priceless.
In theory, success is simple. In practice, it requires discipline, consistency, and execution. Anyone can talk about the process. Few are willing to live it.
The difference between knowing and growing is applying what you know.
Break the rock.
Success rarely happens all at once. You keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Keep trusting the process. Most swings don’t seem to make a difference until one does.
The breakthrough isn’t caused by the last swing. It’s earned by every swing that came before it.
You find what you’re looking for.
If u focus on problems, you’ll find more problems. If u focus on opportunities, growth, and solutions, you’ll find those too. Ur mindset shapes ur reality.
Look for the good, expect the best, and you’ll often discover exactly what you seek.
This is absolutely nuts

That’s a whole conference of players. A lot of these kids will never play again.
You are stronger than your habits.
Your habits don’t control you—you create them. Change starts with a decision, but it lasts through repetition.
Do a little, a lot.
The habits you build today will shape the person you become tomorrow.

“This sport should be popular on every campus in the country…”
Troy Coach Skylar Meade is one of the most fascinating coaches in the sport. Here’s what he had to say when he was asked what makes College Baseball so unpredictable:
Dress for success.
What you wear can influence how you think, feel, and perform. Create a uniform for your work, study, or training that signals it’s time to lock in. Great performance starts before the work begins.
Change your clothes. Change your mindset.
Baseball is not an equal opportunity sport. The best players play. Especially true for HS level/up. Never met a coach in my 29 years of coaching that was trying to lose. Want more playing time? Get better. So good, in fact, that you are the first name written in lineup each game.
Cut off ur escape routes
Distractions make procrastination easy. Create an environment that makes focus easier & excuses harder. Turn off notifications. Remove distractions. Put urself where work gets done.
Success often comes down to making the right choice the easiest choice.
On April 3rd, Milwaukee was 5-22 and one of the worst teams in the country.
Some of their losses:
Run-ruled 21-7 by LSU
Run-ruled 20-3 by Duke
Run-ruled 14-4 by Minnesota
Run-ruled 12-2 by SEMO
Run-ruled 17-1 by Purdue
Run-ruled 14-1 by NKU
Run-ruled 13-2 by Wright State
Run-ruled 16-2 by Notre Dame
Run-ruled 14-4 by UNLV
They finished the regular season 22-31, but won the Horizon League tournament and earned an autobid to the NCAA tournament.
Milwaukee beat #4 Auburn 13-8, beat UCF 13-6, and is now in a regional final, one win away from going to supers.
College Baseball.
IMO there is no better baseball to watch than college baseball playoffs season. Real baseball played with so much passion and intensity… and selflessness.
Absolutely love it! @NCAABaseball
