Industry to classroom - toured BoomTown, Phish Labs, and OHM Radio today. My CS students were able to see three different types of industries using technology.

Teachers already do too many things.
Extra copying and pasting shouldn’t be one of them.
That’s why GitHub Education is teaming up with learning management solutions like Google Classroom to stay in sync without extra effort 💻🌟

@dougbergmanUSA@ai4allorg I also want to introduce AI. I used Google Experiments last year and we discussed a Nextflix video about it but that was all. I want to buy some of these kits next year...https://t.co/giufKRSXeD Have you used them or know anyone that has?
Another great day bridging that gap between education and industry - spent the day @LincolnElectric Charleston learning what goes into creating a plasma cutter. Extremely impressed at what their employees do and create from design to finished product. They do it all!
Industry to Education - thank you @BoschUSA for showing us teachers how to connect the real world to our classrooms. I cannot wait to introduce the internet of things #LikeABosch and the problem solving strategies that are used daily at Bosch.
Two views/uses/contexts of #ComputationalThinking- CT for CS classrooms as a disciplinary thinking skill (drawing on writings of Knuth & Denning), & CT for integration into other subjects. Need to accommodate both in #K12#CSForAll@blogCACM@acmeducation https://t.co/jeZlKSshSp
