“Communication. We’re going to look each other in the eye. We’re going to tell each other the truth. We’re going to have each others back. We’re going to show strong faces. We’re never going to be late. We’re going to be enthusiastic. We’re going to win and lose together,” Coach Kryzyzewski
"Which one are you?
Survivor: does just enough to get by
Contender: motivated by external factors only
Competitor: internally motivated to be his best regardless of the situation
Commanders: all the traits of a competitor-with one exception-he brings people with him."
Pass Pro Day:
Foot Fire & Target Practice.
OL fires on command. Whether that is left, right, double, combo of left then right, right right, left left, etc.
Quality, always. Your Indy period when you work said drills should always be a period of teaching & instruction even if that means slowing it down. It doesn't matter if the players get a ton of reps if they were mostly bad reps & you aren't correcting & communicating w/ players.
Tight Drive vs tight dl
-2 quick steps brace then vertical (tight dl take less vertical step root yourself quicker)
-lift mentality on strike (deroot defender) drive feet thru contact, torque late if fs of play
Great job @jamichael_watts@NickThoresen@trevor_smith59@mcnish_mike
