WR Stance & Start Drill
- Coaches should implement stance and start drills as a daily part of their practice routine to build comfort and consistency.
- Wide receivers should be trained to line up off the ball frequently to improve their ability to calculate route depth and revolutions when they are not starting directly on a yard line.
- Coaches should emphasize keeping the inside foot up in the stance roughly 90% of the time, although it is acceptable to alternate feet based on specific coaching preferences.
- During these drills, coaches must ensure players keep their eyes focused on the ball to react instantly to the snap.
- Receivers must focus on gaining ground immediately off the line rather than "dancing," as any delay at the line of scrimmage gives defenders more time to pressure the quarterback.
- To keep players engaged during training camp, coaches can foster a competitive environment by having receivers race each other off the line.

Titan Tackling Drill
- The Titan drill is a staple for tackling circuits, involving two participants starting with their back feet on a center line between two cones placed six yards apart.
- Coaches stand on each side to direct players toward specific cones, forcing the defender to react to a ball carrier's unknown movement.
- Defenders must sprint around their assigned cone, quickly locate the ball carrier, and attack their leverage while maintaining the near foot up.
- The primary objective for the defender is to gain ground throughout the drill and finish the tackle or tag on the opponent's side of the initial start line.
- When approaching the ball carrier, defenders should avoid squaring up or starting their shimmy too early, as being four yards away is considered too far to effectively take the air out of the play.
- Effective execution requires the defender to demonstrate a burst of speed to squeeze the air to the near hip of the ball carrier and the ability to bend and put a foot in the ground to get vertical.
