So the shaded area would be cooler under than the elevated temp around. Combine in most parking lots in a city and temp goes up.

@RaulPaSan @therealrebulous @Vierd1 @JessePeltan A certain Nuclear Plant in the Upstate of SC produce 2700 MW of clean energy and a footprint of about 500 Acres. That would take about 27000 Acres of Solar to replace. Not feasible.

That would take about 2000-4000 Acres of solar panels to produce the same amount of electricity. That gas plant would only cover 20-40 acres. SOLAR CAN NOT REPLACE gas and coal AT THIS TIME.

@elonmusk Look at a certain 3 Unit Site in SC that was built in the early 70s. It is still going strong and will be for many more decades.This certain plant has no issues, is SAFE, is RELIABLE, and is CLEAN.Almost every bit of its used fuel from beginning to now is stored on site.
