Any #SaintsFC fan wanting Tonda to stay needs to give their head a wobble.
You’re backing a manager at the centre of what is the biggest crisis not only in our club’s history, but potentially one of the biggest controversies English football has seen.
Accountability matters!
@Tomoneill84 As a Saints fan I completely agree what we did has left a stain on our clubs reputation and a dark cloud over the integrity of the game. But Boro didn’t lose because of an intern with an iPhone. Punishment yes, but the result was the result over 2 legs
@Tomoneill84 All I’m saying is, where does it end. I use FFP as an example. If a club signs a player and breaks the FFP law, then ultimately they are gaining an unfair advantage playing any players who caused them to breach FFP. So boot them as well? Wait, unless it’s city 🙄
If the EFL replace #saintsfc with Boro, then they are effectively saying results on the pitch can be overturned for rule breaches off it. If that’s the standard, where does it end? A club who signed a player, then caught breaching FFP, should their results count? Ridiculous 🙄
@Tomoneill84 What about Financial Fair Play breaches? If a club signs players while breaking financial rules, should every result involving those players also be forfeited? If the argument is that rules were broken to gain an advantage, then surely the same principle has to apply there too.
@Tomoneill84 If the EFL replace Southampton with Middlesbrough, then they are effectively saying results on the pitch can be overturned for rule breaches away from the game itself. If that’s the standard, where does it stop?
@martinstarke Ralph Hasenhüttl knew he was a lazy player with a selfish attitude who never fitted his system. Called him out and now he’s got it in for the club……child
Great 4 and a half years representing @SouthamptonFC. Will never forget that feeling you gave every #saintsfc fan at Wembley. Thank you @AdamArma9 and good luck mate!
