@TheJacobTurner I’d push back a little and say the stakes are what the kids take from the experience. If we prioritize results and make excuses and yell at officials, we are teaching them that sports are transactional and (probably) teaching a fixed mindset. Those are the stakes.
@UziCryptoo Counterpoint, our second home purchase was almost derailed because we owed money to an urgent care facility in Florida (insurance dispute) and it affected our credit score enough to screw up our mortgage application.
