@TripleDoubleXO If you’re coaching it right and have the spacing, that should be a rip and attack, now it’s 5 on 4 and make the right read. Spacing is key. Paint pressure is important to collapse and kick or find the dunker spot. For us spacing is our first teaching point. Reads easy w/ space.

@TripleDoubleXO @coachdunn05 @CCC6964 We broke down our PPS over the last 5 years for us, the mid range was by far the worst shot, .62 for mid range and .9 for 3s, .92 for paint shots. It's a tougher shot for most players. Even guys who could shoot it, shot around 40% on mid range shots.

@mar5hallhoops @coachwwilliams And to say we aren’t coaching is wrong. It’s a different philosophy. Don’t have to like it or agree with it. Different ways to offensively skin a cat. We feel that paint shots and C&S 3s is a more efficient way to score

@mar5hallhoops @coachwwilliams The college game is different as well when it comes to defense. The mid range isn’t an efficient shot for most players. You go 4/10 from the mid range and I go 3/10 from 3. Your percentage is higher but I’m still winning. Most mid range shots are contested. 3s are mainly C&S

@UncleT____ 4 less shots a game than Alpi. Alpi had more assists, rebounds, blocks and steals. Higher usage rate than Duren. Alpi asked to do way more offensively and not in an efficient way. The more skilled player is Alpi. I like Duren but comparing these two is odd. Not the same game.

@UncleT____ He is. Also 11 assists in less minutes than anyone who can actually be a playmaker. Spacing, gravity when you’re struggling can help an offense, but Ime wants to win one way it seems. Tied with Sengun and behind Amen in assists and 35+ min less played. Creating quality shots.

@RooshWilliams Or is it the fact that we drafted a roster that doesn’t complement one another? We don’t put Alpi in good spots, or KD and we don’t play a guy who spaces the floor and can also make plays with his decision making. This is more about construct and game plan.

@BimaThug How is he unplayable? He’s switching pindowns which is smart against the current lakers. We did that with him on that 9-0 run, finally. Then he gets pulled. He’s not unplayable for teams with real plans for both sides of the ball.

@RooshWilliams Has he? He was properly trying to switch pindowns. He missed his 4 shots, but none were ugly misses and he provides spacing, gravity and another playmaker. KD has never been a playmaker but we keep putting him in that position with no actual option to shoot.

@SportsRV @9653Convict The coaching offensively is bad. Reed provides spacing. He took 4 shots and didn’t make any but gravity matters. Creates for others. You have 94 points in this NBA. That’s roster construction but also not maximizing what you do have.

@ByVarunShankar Because it should’ve been a switch. That’s an easy switch on that pin flare. That’s on Okogie or the staff. Basketball IQ wise, Reed is right here.
