Why not just give the players a universal “salary” across the board and call it a day. Having an athlete on roster making $2million and one making 20k is kind of crazy. This is not the NFL and when you have this type of pay disparity it would eventually cause tension in the locker room. Also dropping major 💰 on unproven freshmen straight out of high school is wild! The system will implode if something doesn’t happen soon though so I agree changes need to happen.

The NCAA Clearing house requires a 2.3 core GPA.

I’ll go slow.

3 Ds and an F is “eligible” to play in high school but that GPA is 0.75.

2 Bs and 2 Cs is a 2.5 for comparison.

You can be All conf, All area, and All world but they can’t take less than 2.3 core GPA. 🤷‍♂️
