I'm seeing several clips lately of coaches running passing patterns claiming that scanning is one of the focuses of the training...but...how can scanning be a focus of training if the primary stuff you scan for in a match aren't present?

There's been an epidemic of ACL tears in girls soccer recently.

On average, I see approx 2 ACL tears per team PER SEASON.

In 4 years working with the RL South Girls at CISC, we had 4 ACL tears total in 24 seasons

(6 teams x 4 yrs = 24 seasons).
