@CoachMikeEdwar1@UKRunChat@RunDaddyRun16@runr_uk@eventsatw@EssexAArunning Back in the 90's I used to go to Beijing on business and used to run around Tianamen Square which was a bit surreal, also I lived in Riyadh and regularly got rocks etc thrown at me when out running, even got shot at once!!! thankfully missed
✍🏻 @CoachMikeEdwar1 🤝 @eventsatw
I’m delighted to announce I’ve been selected to be an @eventsatw ambassador 🏃♂️🏊♂️🚴🏼
From a nearly 19 stone non-runner to a half marathon buggy runner, marathon runner, LiRF Run Leader and Ambassador of a running company, I’ve not done too bad.
Ensure you get your recovery between each set, regardless of how you feel, as this will be essential as you get towards the end of the session.
This is a short sharp session, which will get the heart rate pumping. Don’t forget to cool down and stretch afterwards.
Starting at one end, simply sprint at your maximum till you reach the other end. Give yourself a one minute standing recovery, turn around, and sprint back to the start.
Aim to repeat this 8/10 times.
