Our newest member of the RGC High Wrestling Academic All-State list- Joseph Ozuna!

Joseph was a 4 year starter and qualified for the Regional Tournament 3 times and was an alternate to the State Tournament this season.

RGC Public Library hosted RGC Wrestling this morning for their Funday Friday! It was a blast working with all the kids on the mats. Our HS wrestlers enjoyed teaching them about our sport and showing them some techniques.

When I was a younger coach, I used to think yelling was the way to get results. I thought I had to show emotion to get emotion and action out of my players.

I've learned that it's really about communication and understanding what my players need. Helping them understand the "why" behind what I'm asking them to do.

There is a difference between yelling at them and yelling instructions or coaching points so you can be heard.

Know the difference.
