OC Head Coach Game Plan Pointers: 1) Feed your Monster( make sure you have guaranteed touches especially for receivers) 2) Have a “Deebo” plan for special monsters…play them everywhere 3) Follow the six phases throughout the game ( run/rpo…PlayAction …Deop Back…Screen…Pocket Move…Gimmicks) keep checking your charts to make sure you aren’t neglecting a phase 4) Repeat good plays over and over if it’s a close game…If Zone right gets 8 yards run it till they stop it 5) Spread the ball in blowouts and make an average player the hero… save your monster for when it matters 6) always game plan first and foremost with the OL in mind… make them successful… if not nothing else matters 7) Never forget if u coach and call plays long enough you’ll be a hero and a zero…Everyone is! Don’t take yourself to seriously…Laugh hard and never forget…There are only to types of coaches A) Those who have been fired B) Those who will be fired…

🚨 A CU Professor told Coach Prime that his players were goofing off in class... Deion proceeded to CHEW THEM OUT in front of the whole team 😂

The teacher sent Coach Prime a fiery e-mail last month, claiming that his players "didn't follow material," and also "made it clear that they don't want to be in the classroom."

The Professor specifically complained about the effort of the student-athletes. They would join Zoom Breakout rooms for attendance, but then stayed silent & contributed nothing when discussion began 🤦‍♂️

Instead of ignoring the Professor's letter, Deion decided to address the team. Here was his important message...

🎙️ | Coach Prime: "Now what bothers me severely, is all the guys we're about to see...[Coach Phillips], let me know if they have a draft grade." 😳

And Coach Prime's totally correct here. Many of his players won't play professionally, but Deion still wants them to be great men when they leave...

After calling out the individual players, Deion ended by explaining that being a man is not ducking responsibility, whether it be on the field or in the classroom 💯

Coach Prime not only held his players accountable, he provided them all an IMPORTANT life lesson. This is why so many recruits are coming to Boulder...

I frequently have athletes who push back on lifting with the program. Their top reason: “but coach I lift by myself”. Great, when you only need yourself to win, then I guess that’s a fine excuse. Lifting as a program is more than just improving your individual strength/athleticism…it’s about the culture, mentality, and bonding you build as a team. Those intangibles can separates teams when it counts and you can’t build those things all by yourself.
