Rocky River's Jade Bell is The Observer's girls' high school basketball player of the week.

The 5-foot-8 sophomore poured in 49 points in a 71-65 loss to Providence on Jan. 30.

Bell is averaging 30 points, seven rebounds, three assists and four steals per game for Rocky River (7-13) this season.
