@shegone03 All the people that have commented that WAR is more important than Batting average have probubly never played higher than travel baseball or all think they are Elite Travel Baseball Coaches. Most Coaches that coach College or higher do not care about WAR.

The one thing I do as hitting coach is if I come up with a drill or see a drill I think is beneficial I try it first myself before teaching my players. But also one thing we should all remeber is every swing is diffrent. You have to make tweets within. Their swing and not change

As everyone knows I am not big on X or most social media. Some days I think I should be more just to voice my opinion on some of these hitting gurus and there drills and philosophies. Not saying that some are not good but most are not help full or are just down right terrible.

Had our first Fall game. Ended up combining with our Ohio chapter. Played against Adrian D1 Club team and won in extra innings 12-11. Really proud of both groups coming together quickly and getting my 1st win as a Head Coach. Even though Fall does not matter, was very proud.

2. Do not tell anyone coach you want to play for them and tell them you are coming to the school and then never return their calls. If you decide to go to another school tell them, when you say you are coming we hold that spot for you. We will respect your decisions.

Some advice to young players that want to play at the next level after high school.1. Communication is key with a coach thatbis recruiting you. Never ghost a coach, if you do not want play for their program let them know, they will respect you for that.
