We tell kids to not sleep on the trades, then we tell them they don't have a Bachelors or Masters degree so they aren't employable even if qualified. so much is wrong with our system, I never realized until I retired from 25years in the trades and enrolled in college in my 40's

#MentalHealth is an important part of #sports In #RhodeIsland this week we've had 2 highly visible events, 1 resulting in a fatality the second a rescue & treatment. These 2 events were within 24 hours of one another. We need to have difficult discussions, we need to be better.

5yrs today Cliff took a pill laced with fentanyl. I coached Cliff when he was a young teen through Jr high. Since passing his mom trained me in overdose detection& narcan, on the anniversary of his passing I used it on a man, Cliff helped me save a life that day. #Forever19

In my soon to be 50 years on this earth the 89-90 Loyola Marymount men's basketball team is still the most fun to watch from an offensive standpoint.... defense welllllllllllll not so much.
