@GarthGlissman @KyleTuckerCBB Why not have the teams who elect to play foreign tours, face one another on those tours? So the teams who elect to take tours get to satisfy both. Televise those games. It’s unlikely that the rule would be adopted for team development. It’d be about potential revenue.

Republicans should hold their elected officials to account… i.e. Paxton/Hoffman situation and the like. Instead, everyone is full of shit. @MrDontCuffDatt @Rondo_gh Great perimeter scorers are generally adept at drawing fouls. Wade, MJ, LeBron SGA, Luka, Brunson etc. That’s what I see in this video. The lines get blurred with the flopping. But SGA is GREAT but the flopping gives his detractors something to target.

Absolutely brutal news this morning of Bridgton Academy’s legendary coach Whit Lesure passing away suddenly at the age of 66.

This one hits really, really hard for me. Forget about the fact that he was a terrific coach, a 4-time NEPSAC champion, someone who was all about developing people.

But Whit was such a good guy. I wouldn’t be where I am today in this business, as he really helped me as a young journalist breaking into the prep school/recruiting end of things. He was a straight shooter and I going to miss seeing and talking to him. Prayers go out to Whit’s entire family.

Here’s a statement from Bridgton Academy:

“The entire Bridgton Academy community is devastated by the loss of Basketball Coach Whit Lesure, 66, who passed away early this morning after a medical emergency at his home on campus. Coach Lesure won four NEPSAC AAA championships during his 29-year tenure at Bridgton Academy, earning him admission into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame. He was beloved by his players, as well as the students who turned to him for support in his role as advisor, dorm parent, and college counselor. He was deeply admired and respected by his colleagues on campus and fellow basketball coaches everywhere. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Marybeth and the Lesure family. Coach Whit’s passing leaves an enormous hole in our hearts and in our community.”

Everything I'm reading from college coaches is great stuff, but what's not being said, is that it’s no longer college basketball. It's professional basketball with budgets that rival the Euroleague. So pros have trade deadlines. The G league is way below college basketball on a pay scale. Even two way players are way below. Unfortunately the game I've been in for over 40 years no longer exists.
