Going deep on Brett MacConnell's rise from Rutgers manager to Princeton associate head coach.
Ace recruiter, relationship-builder, wrote the scouting report that dissected Missouri.
But we start with a rip-roaring tale from his dad https://t.co/lNW1PdC0WD via @asburyparkpress
@HD_DirtKing Pursue the dream all in with the mindset of you can’t be over 30 making under 30. After that, shift to finding a FT job while volunteering at a local program to “get your fix”. Just my 2 cents. I was 6 months away from being “out” when I got my break.
@RutgersManagers@RutgersMBB@BrettMacConnell The real thanks goes to Brett who did 95% of the work. I just wore a blazer and made everyone introduce themselves. But in all seriousness, it was a great day of catching up, networking and feeling apart of Rutgers Basketball again.
To all of our current and previous managers- We would like to invite you to attend our first ever Rutgers manager reunion! The event will be held on June 9th at 1:00pm at the Rodkin Center. If you’d like to RSVP, please email [email protected]
Probably not my place to comment but, Brett Macconnell would do an incredible job at FDU. Smart, creative, and will do things the right way. Anyone who spends 10 minutes with him can see that. He’s everything that’s good about NJ basketball.
As FDU looks to replace Greg Herenda, I posed questions to its brass: Is the school committed to D-1 athletics for the foreseeable future? Why the basketball staffing cutbacks?
