Erik Spoelstra & the Heat have drastically changed their offense this season
▪️Insane pace: 39 (!) Transition PPG through first 4
▪️Almost no set plays
▪️Very little pick-and-rolls (30th in NBA)
So how do they score?

Do any hoops coaches out there who run a 5-out offense want to jump on a Zoom call with me at some point? More the merrier. I need new options and a better way to teach it. I’d appreciate the guidance.
Not a more deserving person out there! @manningphilip is a top tier coach and even better human. So excited for you brother! Proud of you, great things to come!
My freaking guy!!!! There is no one, and I mean NO ONE, who is more deserving and has a better resume as an assistant than this dude. He’s going to crush it!
Welcome Phillip Manning as head boys basketball coach @sherman_high! He brings experience from Allen, Denton Braswell, Plano Senior, Sulphur Springs & Bells. He has a clear passion for the game, & we can’t wait to see how our boys continue to grow & develop under his leadership!
@CoachMarcHart Cutting away is an option but we aren't limited to that. Players almost always have an A/B option and sometimes A/B/C. Both of the cuts above create space but would lean on one or the other depending on type of defense we are seeing.

Imagine you keep the time & money you spend on 7th/8th grade travel teams
And use it to DEVELOP rather than play endless 5 v 5 games
There are a lot of kids right now who should be in a gym working on their shot - but are going to be the 9th man that shoots 3x a tournament
