1:40pm make up Sunday was cut short for a storm. 4pm final game canceled for weather.
We spent 4 days and 3 nights in NC and played 9 innings of baseball.
I'd say some compensation is due.
A Very Disappointing experience with @DynamicBaseball Greensboro. Drew 1st game of the day (9am) on Friday as an out of state team. The local opponent did not show up! Arrived 1.5hrs early for Sat game, no cages, prior game ends 1hr early but we start 10mins late because of umps

Our @SalemSpartanBB seniors and coaches attend their first Salem/Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame banquett. We are happy to support this great program and the surrounding baseball community. We had a great time and hope to make this an annual event. @SalemSpartans

#baseball is really hard! It’s not fair and not everyone wins. Fun is battling and competing. If you really like playing you will play anywhere! Pressure is life and baseball is a tool for life . It’s not who we are but what we do. Love the game not the rewards.
It’s NORMAL to feel fear and anxiety. Every single human does from time to time, especially when we’re out of our comfort zone.
It’s NOT NORMAL to have the mindset and mental tools to shift those feelings from an obstacle holding you back to an asset that fuels you.
Hands down the best way to do that is to perceive the high arousal in our bodies as a GOOD thing. A great way to do that is to say “I’m excited, bring it on” rather than “Why am I nervous?”
Know that fear is just a feeling. The way our body responds to FEAR and EXCITEMENT are scientifically proven to be the same.
Together, those 5 words “I’m excited, bring it on” will lead to you approaching adversity like a challenge (free & loose), rather than a threat (tight & tense).
Womens History Month. @SalemSpartans physics students are doing an open project on one of 50 notable female scientists. They're encouraged to pick someone they're not familiar with, and present what they find however they want. I can't wait to see what they do!
Hitters
Put on baseball pants with piping.
Get in this position in front of a mirror (piping on back thigh has to angle back with chest behind waist).
Hold the position for 90 seconds.
That 90 seconds will teach you everything you need to know about getting into your legs.
