I think they were focused on using propaganda and skew information. The empire only lasted 24 years. People were still alive from the clone wars to the destruction of the Death Star

The history of the Jedi was probably well known throughout the galaxy. There are may historical figures/warriors that have gone extinct and we still know about the today.

@cheeseheadtv I’m not that mad at the team’s performance. We played with a lot of resilience. Yes I was pissed on the onside kick mistake, but if you take in consideration the injuries, we could have honestly been blown out by the Bears. We do need to improve in the Redzone.
