@CTBBHoops I have a post regarding the restructuring of CT basketball conferences. Moving teams up after one good year doesn’t t make sense if they’re not nearly as competitive over the next few years. Teams need evaluation over a few years. It will prove that the talent and coaching is A1
I think basketball capital of the world is a stretch. Me no being from here, I had never heard ANYONE say that until I moved here. There is something to be said about that.
I would give them credit for being a dominant college basketball state. But that’s it.
I’m gonna go ahead and throw some shade here. I saw a sign that said “Welcome to Connecticut. Basketball capital of the world”. I’m very confused by this especially since I think that’s incorrect.

There are not even 5 from CT. Though there are several high level prep programs in h the is state. Most, if not all of the notable players on the squads are not from CT. Most being international players or from other states entirely.
This is not to say that CT has no talent.
