@laythy29 As an American who’s travelled extensively, this is one I’d have to agree with. Our coffee is not good. Mainly I think it comes down to roasting temperatures being too high and the desire for instant coffee forcing us to drink something brewed too fast or left sitting too long.
@Arhigose@jonahwootentv I love Randall but for perspective, the team played in only 7 playoff games during his 11 seasons and was 2-5 in those games. That’s not good. We can be real.
@cheesesteakTDs@TheCamSays@jonahwootentv Very cost effective. Less housing cost, no need to feed or transport for holding to arraign next day and less officers needed. Plus the person in custody goes home sooner. It’s a win/win.
@cheesesteakTDs@TheCamSays@jonahwootentv I worked medical at the Linc. They technical never had a prison. They had and still have a jail with multiple cells (it’s a temporary holding facility). It’s pretty standard for the NFL. What differentiated Philly was the Vet having a judge to arraign on site. Judge McCaffery.
@jonahwootentv@es___a That’s not a snipers nest. A security supervisor and a medical dispatcher sit there. I used to work medical at the stadium. At that time there were 3 different security companies along with PPD coordinating along with private EMS from that box.
@jonahwootentv@Arhigose The Eagles were ass when they wore Kelly Green. I don’t wanna go back to that. They just really need to put some effort into giving the stadium some character.
@jonahwootentv I’ve always said the stadium is a great stadium but the team treats it like a warehouse. Go the CBP and there’s red, white and blue Phillies logos and images everywhere. The Linc has great bones but the Eagles are so bland with it.
@bwfc_elliot Fair enough but if you wanna have a d**k measuring contest, these all seat 15,000 more on average than Wembley. And these are used for college sports, not professional.
@jersiegel From a life safety stand point, it’s probably best you never see it again. That flag around the neck gave me nightmares. Good to see them enjoying their stay though.
@JSWC1995 The OP seems to show equal confusion on the part of Brits to assume American stadiums are even 1% designed with them in mind. BTW the image on the right is Tom Benson Stadium which doesn’t host regular season games, seating is only 23,000. Far less than even half of Anfield.
@rounder829 It’s weird. Veterans Stadium had a marker called Stargell’s Star but it made sense even though Willie was a Pirate not a Phillie because his was estimated as the longest homerun in park history. It was a little outlandishly large though given the context.
@eurofounder Sounds suspicious. I’ve never tipped on a ticket sale and the idea of traveling intercontinentally without already obtainining tickets sounds mental. But as it turns out, you can’t even buy tickets at a booth.
