A3 First, I’d trust whatever Erica says on the subject. From there I look at it (prolly incorrectly) based on the sport played. Without giving it a ton of thought; ability to complete soccer actions without falling over and be intentional about doing them correctly. #SoccerChat
As convenient but it is different when you have those conversations. The good is great but a lot can be taken away from the bad and ugly and it doesn’t necessarily mean their terrible people or coaches. We’re all human and make whoopsies.
A2 since dropping coaching I’ve largely stayed away from these books. There’s a significant amount of repetition in most of them. Another issue I’ve run into is there’s a lot of narrative control that highlights the good but not the bad or ugly. We know there are lots #SoccerChat
Championship winning coaches that fall so short in a number of ways clawing to the top, but when u win it becomes irrelevant. I think there’s more to be gained from conversations with leaders former employees, current employees, former players, owners, employers etc. Nowhere near
game day.
