Here's my experience with the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon 2024:

World Athletics certification
The certification of the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon by World Athletics was a game changer, sparking incredible energy and excitement.
It also boosted confidence in the marathon's ability to deliver an exceptional experience.
With the above certification, athletes can qualify for marathon championship around the world.

Communication
Kudos to the @RwenzoriMarathn team for keeping us informed every step of the way during the marathon planning process.

Kit Collection
When we arrived in Kasese to pick up our kits, the team was exceptionally warm and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure we received the best support. Kudos to them!

For your information, the @RwenzoriMarathn kit is the BEST KIT in Africa.

Friendly Community
The community in Kasese was incredibly supportive, starting their cheers as early as the morning shake-out run.
There's nothing more uplifting for a runner than the encouragement from the local community.

About the Route
The route was fantastic—I enjoyed every moment of my run. The support from spectators was truly heartening.

Route Support
The support along the route was outstanding. In my opinion, this was the best part of the event.
Thank you team @RwenzoriMarathn for making our run memorable.

We look forward to next year's Tusker lite Rwenzori marathon experience.

@athletics_kenya come here please. We have lots of issues that need attention concerning the Nairobi Expressway Marathon. Take your time and collect feedback.
A success of any marathon is decided by the recreational running community.

The event was already sold out
Why not use that money on electrolyte and paramedical support 🥲🥲

All roads lead to South Africa this week . We hosted the comrades ultra marathon runners for a send off breakfast.
Among the team, we had a 65 year old lady who will be taking the challenge for the second time.
The stories about the race really inspired me.

@Ugahicom This was a fantastic experience

[Coach Nick -Outdoors @Coach_Nick01]

@wekesa_amos The race is gaining crazy traction in Kenya

The fear of the disease will cause more harm than the disease.
What really worries me is the fact that all our members of parliament are silent.

News Update

Tourists begin to cancel trips to Kenya over Ebola fears

[Coach Nick -Outdoors @Coach_Nick01]

@wekesa_amos @cgtnafrica Monetizing the disease is the real problem that we have. Our leaders must be very intentional if they want to see real economic growth in our East African countries.
