So what does The Coach's Praybook all entail?
It contains 40 prayers designed for coaches to cover their players, team, or program in prayer. These prayers are meant to add a spiritual dimension to coaching duties, which should be a higher priority than other tasks.
There are some people who pretty much only you can reach. There are some hands that pretty much only you can hold and comfort. There are some needs that only you will resonate to and even see and meet. Do you know what this means? It means you’re not here by accident. – @timkellernyc

Good Friday asks something of us that most days don't; to sit with the weight before we reach for the victory. To stand at the cross and let it be what it actually was: brutal, costly, and chosen.
He didn't bypass the pain. He walked straight into it, for us. The grief of Gethsemane, the silence of the Father, the darkness over Calvary. Jesus felt the full weight of every sorrow this world carries.
And yet, even there, His trust in the Father held.
Good Friday isn't a day to rush past. It's a day to remember what love actually cost. The joy that carried Jesus through the cross wasn't indifference to suffering...it was unshakable trust in the One who held the other side of it.
Today I got to have coffee with some solid men.
We talked life, timing, and patience.
There’s a tension between our timing and God’s.
Hard to grasp that He’s already declared the plan, not whispered it.
And somehow, it leads to hope and a future
Thoughts from today's walk
Steve Weatherford talked about Galatians 6:9, specifically the part of the verse that says, "do not give up."
- Don't become weary doing good
- The proper time is God's time, not ours
- It'll be worth it - reaping what we sow
- IF we don't give up
I don’t entertain negativity—it’s a distraction.
Leaders: you have a responsibility to lead. Stay off the court of social media, rumors, and innuendos. Stay focused on your mission and lead your program.
Remember: people won’t see your vision because it wasn’t given to them.

Incredible take from Charles Barkley on Tom Izzo:
"The media, who don't know anything about sports, say 'Why is he yelling his players?' That's called coaching... if parents & friends get mad because you're getting yelled at, get better parents & better friends."
Friday leadership
Leaders aren’t invincible—we’re battle tested. Every scar represents a lesson earned. Don’t hide it. Lead with it. That’s how you build trust. #dailyleadership
Wednesday Leadership
Standards don’t adjust to people—people rise to the standard or get left behind.
Leadership is enforcing it daily, not just preaching it occasionally. #LeadershipDevelopment
I have one life and one chance to make it count for something. I’m free to choose that something. That something is my faith. My faith demands that I do whatever I can, wherever I can, whenever I can, for as long as I can with whatever I have, to try to make a difference J Carter
