I fully understand why David prayed for God to create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Sometimes, the greatest battle is not with the people around us but with what is happening inside us. You can have a good heart and still need God to work on your attitude, your thoughts, your reactions and the things you struggle to control.
New excuse just dropped: Ole Miss was apparently playing music through the snap “again and again.”
Let’s update Lane Kiffin’s running list since Saturday:
• The return was more emotional than he expected
• He wasn’t as “in competitive mode” as he thought he’d be
• It’s hard to win SEC road games at night
• LSU had injuries
• Sam Leavitt missed practice
• Leavitt missed third-down/red-zone prep
• Leavitt left clean pockets too early
• Leavitt missed open receivers
• LSU had a guy open on the final drive
• LSU had TWO guys open in the end zone on another play
• A missed block cost LSU another TD
• LSU settled for 3 from the Ole Miss 3
• LSU gave up a TD right before halftime
• The players felt like THEY “lost the game” in multiple situations, not the coaches
• Chambliss kept beating the right defensive calls
• Chambliss is basically impossible to defend
• Ole Miss treated it like “their Super Bowl”
• LSU had to play at Ole Miss two years in a row
• The SEC’s scheduling format put them in that position
• And now Ole Miss was playing music through the snap “again and again”
It’s Wednesday.
At some point you can say Ole Miss just beat you.
Seeing all of this national attention makes me think about how far Mississippi State has come under Jeff Lebby.
“Cause when it flips, it is gonna flip, and its gonna feel real damn good.”
It’s hard to win on the road in CFB with 18 year old QB. vs. a Real program. Never apologize for winning. Our V’s to victory will always be value the ball no turnovers, violence run the ball, voice speak victory in adversity, victory be 1 point better a W is W. 1-0 on to next 1
