The Coalition Government is funding hundreds of thousands of apprentices and trainees through the Skilling Australians Fund, and the skills package announced in the 2019 Budget. #Budget2019#BuildingOurEconomy#auspol https://t.co/6iOpd0VtCG
Our record $100 billion infrastructure investment will bust congestion and unlock the potential of our regions, without increasing taxes. #Budget2019#BuildingOurEconomy#auspol https://t.co/6iOpd0VtCG
This is how budgets work. If you take a look back through Wayne Swan’s Budgets, there are plenty of “dashes”. Does each dash represent a lack of funding? 🤔
Thanks for waiting. Budgets are set over 4 years. When projects move from the planning phase to the construction phase, payment schedules are updated so that funding can flow as soon as it’s needed.
@AnikaWells We know you wouldn’t want to mislead Queenslanders - so we listed some of the projects in the 2019/20 Budget. Linked here because we don’t want you to miss it: https://t.co/WMui4y5x4n

I didn't miss it & this doesn't lessen my astonishment that this Coalition will not be spending any new infrastructure $ in Queensland in 2019/2020. Your MPs & candidates talk about congestion busting - maybe they should be talking about a congestion slow burn instead. #auspol
$32 million for Quay Street
$29.6 million for Shute Harbour Road
$24 million for the Torbanlea Pialba Road
$378.8 million to specific projects in Qld under the Urban Congestion Fund including:
$85 million for Lindum Crossing
$50 million for the Gympie Arterial Road
@QLDLabor You must have missed the $9.8 billion the Coalition Gov is spending on Queensland infrastructure. Federal budgets are set over four years. Always have been.
