Tonight, the shoreline access bill cleared the House! Kudos to the RI General Assembly for passing legislation to restore the public’s right to shoreline access! This is a historic victory for the people of the Ocean State—hundreds of whom used their voices to advocate for this.
House passes shore access bill. 69-0, unanimous. "I do think this is historic," said @TerriCortvriend.
Senate already passed it, now goes to the governor.
Save The Bay joined the Wood-Pawcatuck Wild and Scenic Rivers Stewardship Council, and the Town of Exeter to install a rain garden of native plants at the Exeter Town Hall.
