I first championed the Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed Protection Act in 2010. Now, with the help of @RepJoeCourtney and @DavidCicilline, this legislation to add important federal protections for these #SouthCounty rivers has passed the House and will soon become law.
Wild & Scenic Act takes another leap....US House overwhelmingly passed the bill 363 - 62. This builds on last week's passing vote of 92-8 by the US Senate. One more step to become law! Many thanks to our delegation of Representatives.
