@herculezg I visit Europe twice a year and I can say the NFL is gaining popularity every year, but that is ridiculous. I would imagine that both handball and darts are more popular in most countries. Not sure why someone would need to embellish that fact.

@NoahRiffe Not defending the player, but Van Persie was fired on part of his inability to manage personalities. I can't imagine how many times Noho has possibly crashed out in front of Schmetzer. I find it a little dishonest to judge his character solely on this event alone.

@NoahRiffe @ELROLONW In his 2024-2025 season he was loaned to a lower tiered team in Serie A. He only got 6 goals in 25 games, but that made him the team leader in goals. Status a just difficult to judge.

@NoahRiffe @ELROLONW While I find this possible transfer a bit underwhelming, it does seem similar to when Victor Rodriguez was signed. Not a lot of playing time, and when he did play it was one of the better players for a bottom table team in a top league.

@PintsDrank Never tasted it, never heard of it, but I consider it an anti-beer. It is a luxury product that has its worth driven not by taste or quality, but by exclusivity. The desire to be seen and associated with it greatly out ways any of its material worth.

@ELROLONW Doesn't need to be within MLS. Damion Downs might be available for a 12 month loan with option to buy. Fits the need of a CF. Probably too much of a risk considering age and lack of production, but he is an u22 non-mls player that plays overseas. Plenty of fans would like that.

@AndrewDamitio Urban areas need to be a little messy to properly function. I blame Hoover's zoning laws and the computer game sim city for people's distorted views on how a city needs to be build and run.

@alanthefisher Seattle should've never passed on that federal funding. Both cities are paying the consequences of that decision. Atlanta, as city that doesn't seem to want it, and Seattle, a city that now realizes it needs it but now has to foot the bill.
