@Erlichem@jyfrimpong Yes. But not jx any stalled project but according to levels of completion. Those completed and near completed ones.
There are some that are nowhere near completion according to jdm
@Erlichem@jyfrimpong It was captured in the budget. I've seen it. But locations wasn't specific so how do we monitor it cos we're already in the 6 month of the year.
@Erlichem@jyfrimpong Will the nation collapse if 30 of these hospitals are completed and operationalise? Let's not be wicked to ourselves all for political gains.
@Erlichem@jyfrimpong I am not. I am not asking 80 hospitals to be built. No. I was only saying 80 district don't have district hospitals hence the undue pressure on TTH and KATH.
@Erlichem@jyfrimpong Who's asking govt to complete all stalled hospital projects??? Aren't they in various levels of completion? Aren't some near completion?
@Erlichem@jyfrimpong Over 80 district in Ghana has no district hospitals. Aren't you scared for Ghana? Most of this district are in the middle and the northern parts of Ghana. Why won't TTH and KATH be in such mess?? But you think CHPS is the way to go lol, keep it up
@Erlichem@jyfrimpong CHPS is for primary health care. That's why is a health post.
Govt says it's finances are limited so why not complete the stalled ones rather than attempting to build 1000s of CHPS?
@Erlichem@jyfrimpong Did I say lack of facilities???
Dude, don't behave like a politician. We deserve better as a nation. Monies used for the CHPS should be channelled to the stalled hospital projects. Who will choose a CHPS over a hospital? Gh is 70 in 2027. Let's do better bro!
The person that initiated this project, for four years, didn't complete even a fraction, but it's Akandoh that you want to beat up?
Plus we have to get serious, why do you get up and initiate 111 hospitals all at once, costing billions of dollars, where's that done? What's the practicality of being able to finish such a gargantuan project?
Was it not more reasonable to do the project in phases? What's your entire annual budget for four years?
Just like someone said,if the attorney general wasn't a lawyer and knowest not what 'prima facie' was, wouldn't the judiciary react in a certain way towards him or her???
The only reason some medical doctors react the way they do toward the Health Minister is that they believe the position should be occupied by someone from their profession. Beyond that, it is difficult to understand why they would overlook the role of fellow professionals who directly manage the health facilities they complain about, while placing the blame on a Minister whose primary responsibility is policy direction and oversight rather than day to day facility management. Some of our medical doctors are so condescending
