@guycalledfrank I remember driving up and down a curb to check in gta5 and thinking it was raycast with a bit of lerp. I could be wrong on this.

@guycalledfrank When you need simulation.. sure. Make your own shapecast wheel. The reason the default wheels in both unity and Godot are kind of dog water is not really the raycast imo. It's that when trying to do something more complex with them you simply don't have enough access.

@guycalledfrank Shapecast is one of them. Having to check every physics tick this becomes more demanding performance wise. I suggest a mix of using shapecast for player cars and raycast for npc cars if you want a lot of them on screen at once.
