It was a bittersweet day today at the UW Flight Research Center. N2UW, operational since 1977, was cut into pieces and loaded onto a trailer to be carried away. This begins a new chapter with the Next Gen King Air to arrive later this year.

The UW King Air has begun its final project before retirement, studying the transport and transformation of ammonia in TRANS2AM. This project is a collaboration between UW and CSU and is taking place in N CO along and east of the Front Range.
