Librem is a pro-privacy laptop that unironically comes with a fuckin' kill switches for mic, bluetooth, camera. It has Intel Management engine disabled. It runs PureOS, with app sandboxing, adblocking, tracking protection, etc.

This laptop is basically a privacy nerd laptop. It also comes with a bunch of NSA stickers, HOPE (Hackers on Planet Earth) stickers, FBI Most Wanted stickers, etc.

@PayPal4Business Tnx for putting a hold on my income tax I transferred into my PayPal account. Didn't realize it was against TOS to charge myself to fund the account. Not sure if you'll get to keep my $480 but it'll be the last. When I started it, there was no other option. 🤬😭

@GemLeighton Edie, as an artist, I'll say this piece shows real talent! At your age, I was able to reproduce what I saw in detail but didn't have the ability to let art "flow" from me "with feeling", which you've done here. Anyone can learn what I do but, your creativity can't be taught. 💜🎨

The fact that our police are armed to the teeth does absolutely NOTHING to prevent these things from happening. Not. Once.
Because our police are militarized, it normalizes firearms AND causes any bad actor to feel that they NEED a gun to stand a chance. More people get killed.

@JessiShakarian @thecaitcode I agree. I think when we try to combat block with more focus, we're spending extra effort digging a deeper hole. I find if I run out of steam it's because I need to adjust my work/life balance. I get more ideas when I'm not trying and am doing something fulfilling.

@bannan_ken @J4yGrant @lmcgrew Just so people are aware, in the medical community, the term "make them 'comfortable'" has been used as an unspoken way of saying, "give them enough morphine to make them comfortable and disregard the fact that that amount may be enough to end them." It's respectful, IMO.

@bannan_ken @J4yGrant @lmcgrew When it's my time, I hope someone has the guts to do the right thing and say, "Make him 'comfortable'," which doesn't mean 'fluff his pillows', in that situation.
