@GavinNewsom Minimum wage was designed for beginner jobs for teenagers, still living at home. Ideally, you get experience, move on to better paying jobs cause you now have experience. Experience pays better, but expecting minimum wage jobs to pay the bills is insane, its a stepping stone.

@GavinNewsom Higher minimum wage means higher prices, less shoppers, less employees needed. Economics 101, make things to expensive, people won't go, no customers, no employees needed, meaning all mom and pop businesses have most likely relocated to a state that respects business needs.

@Will_iam_001 My ancestors were slaves! The poor already get reparations, its called government housing, vouchers for utilities, food stamps and tax returns of those unmarried that get over $10,000 in taxes back, and paid nothing in. All should pay taxes, the poor pays nothing!
