If your remote team is saying they are fine during your daily stand up, maybe you should give them a call and find out how to help? No one is "fine" at the moment.
@mikegeyser It can take quite a while to get into the flow which is why we've seen so many failures when companies try to experiment with remote working for a day. Chances are minimal it'll work unless you give the team enough time to find a rhythm.

Fancy DevOps can only cover up underlying team problems in the short term. There's no point in delivery quickly if the team is suffering so sort out those fundamentals before bringing more tech into play.
@steipete The whole "full stack developer" concept seems flawed so I'm hoping orgs stop adding it as a requirement. Having an *interest* in full-stack and an ability to learn is far more important than just copy/pasting from this month's TIOBE into your CV :-)
