It's almost as if... the general public prefers DC when it's... (trigger warning) dark and serious???Literally who could've guessed this.

Other than the box office results of literally:
- The Dark Knight ($1B)
- The Dark Knight Rises ($1B)
- The Batman ($770M)
- Wonder Woman ($823M)
- Suicide Squad ($749M)
- Batman v Superman ($874M)
- Joker ($1B)

Especially when compared to the light and funny attempts of:
- Wonder Woman 1984 ($169M)
- Blue Beetle ($130M)
- The Suicide Squad ($168M)
- Supergirl (<$200M)

But I'm sure if we just keep pumping out more Z-list characters that are all action comedies with pop music, the DC film brand will take off.
