To be clear, I think everyone, including me, has contradictory opinions. To be human is to have, at times, contradictory beliefs and act hypocritically. But in this instance, posturing about military service and not conserving energy for the greater good appears, to me, about performing machismo.
I'm sure there are many dimensions to his views that I'm missing. I'm not writing a biography about him. I am only commenting on what I think is driving these two contradictory beliefs. While everyone has contradictory beliefs, not everyone's politics or worldview is about performing gender.
What do you think accounts for these two divergent views? Joining the military and possibly fighting in a war is a much bigger sacrifice than leaving your thermostat at 78 degrees, would you agree?
The owner of Twitter, @elonmusk, who **begged** Jeffery Epstein to go to his parties, demanded I SAID produce children for him to look at. And they wouldn't. I fucking wonder why? Maybe they were afraid they'd be the next victim.
I am a J6er.
I became single for the first time in twenty years when my ex-wife divorced me over J6. She couldn’t bear the doors slamming shut — family and friends turning their backs because of me.
Dating is brutal enough. But my J6 story sends most women running, even the conservative ones. Most Americans have no idea the raw liberal hate and violence that erupts inside families the moment a J6er’s name is spoken.
Every J6er is fighting to rebuild — jobs, relationships, a place in society — against a tidal wave of lies and mind-shattering negative press designed to destroy us.
We have been persecuted to the brink. The left celebrates our pain and quietly hopes for our destruction.
But reintegration and rebuilding in the face of such hate demands something stronger than rage. It demands faith and love — the only weapons that can truly defend the spirit of the downtrodden.
As I rebuild my life with love and advocacy, I will keep fighting for the truth, love, and faith that called me to DC on that cold January morning.
I am one of the lucky ones. In my fifties, single, with a new life ahead. New love and support. Beautiful new blonde farmgirl girlfriend supporting me, and i am finding serenity and hope toiling in the soil on her lavender farm.
By God’s grace, I am rising.
God Bless the J6ers!
@vxunderground I don't know if this has been overlooked, but this also removes a vital source of education from many indie developers who grew up learning on their own home computers. If I didn't have a computer at home I wouldn't be where I am now.
It's not just about "you'll own nothing." I learned programming because I had these devices at my home. How are kids going to get into indie development and stuff if they don't have the machines to do it? Are they going to have to charge a subscription for that also?
yeah yeah…I know “you’ll own nothing” memes, but philosophical issues aside it just makes sense.
a friend of mine used to have a full gaming PC, but due to travel-heavy circumstances got rid of it. he only has a macbook air + a controller now, plus some sort of cloud streaming service.
with internet speeds being quite good in most parts of europe...it was honestly unimaginably impressive. I had no idea how much it's matured over the years. With hardware prices being what they are, 1 real PC buys you like 10+ years of cloud gaming...
This dude in the year 2026, when we have LLMs generating thousands and thousands of lines of code that go unaudited and repeat the same vulnerabilities of the past, genuinely believes that is a more secure process than what is used for medicine.
If medicine was held to the standard of rigor that software engineering is - let alone the discipline you see in aircraft or bridges - way fewer people would die unnecessarily
Plenty of developers have these skills he extols. What @theo has the others didn't was *connections*. Theo didn't get where he is because he's some amazing developer. He got there because he's essentially a nepobaby in the industry. His videos consistently show he's no better.
I don't come on this website often because it's a fucking shithole, but I specifically wanted to come on here and call out @theo. In one of his recent videos he fucking glazes himself for hours, talking about skills he has that puts him above the others.
