Enjoying reading @ReactiveSpring book by @starbuxman. This example from the book presents a retryable flux that simulates error on first attempt and shows how easy it is to retry with exponential backoff strategy with jitter. @springframework@springboot
Apple Vision Pro VR:
At $3499 and higher, this is expensive but amazing toy right now. Once price comes down after a few years, won’t be surprised that this becomes a common household but indoor item in families that have iPads.
Apple Vision Pro VR:
Apple has done amazing job. Great that there’s a camera on the headset and the projection doesn’t block everything else like PS4 VR and others do.

Apple Vision Pro VR:
Don’t think anyone will wear this in public. No matter how amazing, all VR headset headsets still look funny and wearer is subject to ridicule. Just like what happened with Google glass.
I need your help friends. I did a video on Spring Security OAuth2 Login. I'm getting a lot of questions about splitting the frontend out into a separate client. Do you have a client in React/Vue/Angular that calls a Spring Boot REST API?

@therealdanvega Modified BFF (backend for frontend) model where BE serves apis and is protected through OAuth2. When BE API/OAuth2 returns 302, FE does browser redirect to BE protected url. BE competes OAuth2 login flow and once completed, 302s user back to FE where ongoing calls succeed.
@SFMTA_Muni Couldn’t agree more. Food is out of the world and the people there are lovely ❤️ and will remember you. Had to pay them visit multiple times during lockdown after they came on the news to talk about the impact.
@LondonBreed Food brings back the people here and together!
What’s up with drivers being early and waiting on market street while passengers have to get off and start walking to work instead? @SFMTA_Muni Stop punishing drivers for being early and keep buses moving.
@SFMTA_Muni I understand. Thank you for your responses.
This worker is now in office and can’t wait to spend for lunch at their favorite local restaurant Oasis Grill which has fortunately survived the tough times!
@SFMTA_Muni Good to know that it’s not a punishment. But hurts to realize that now I am walking instead of making full use of service I paid for. This is not how you bring workers to back to downtown. Btw this never happened in past 9 years of me taking 38 to work.
History of and how Silicon Valley Bank worked. It gave loans to startups. They used investing account to get return on savings. Bank acts as VC and gives money to pay off the same loans and more. Real money stays in the bank. Startups get tied strongly to the banks ecosystem.
