@tferriss@bot@Muse@OpenAI@claudeai@instinct Can only give an opinion on Dots and although it started amazing after a week I felt more disappointed and I feel like it’s because it’s using Astra which isn’t a model I’m a fan of personally.
Hoping to try Duet soon and Muse I’ll skip primarily because it’s made by Facebook.
@amorriscode@kr0der Tell us what you think. I went in person and felt disappointed plus maybe it is new but deep down felt like I would barely ever open the phone as I find it annoying which means I’ll be stuck with a small screen while it’s closed 😅
@_mattwelter@zach_yadegari That one didn’t make much sense since so many other products could basically do that. This one though not new I can see way more use case.
Love how he continues to put out new ideas though.
@theo Considering how good Opus is, there’s no real reason to use something created by Facebook. They’ll need to truly beat the hell out of Opus before I consider using a product by them.
Maybe in a few months or years? But luckily we have options around
@oncelcebeci@rid0uoff@asherdipps Hm just ran the numbers again more direct. It seems like they charge $400 for every 16GB as you mentioned.
So a jump from 128gb that is $7k to 256gb would be an increase of $1600 so you are right.
About $8600 before tax (this is with 2TB storage as well)
@asherdipps Honestly was hoping for a more affordable but AI focused laptop. I have no issue with mine yet which is 32gb M1 Max from 2021 but I also know they’ll eventually consider discontinuing updates to such old laptops.
I’ll possibly wait. I had Dynamic Island before and never used it
@nvimcruz@MatthewBerman@theo This is a pretty good point. Personally felt that 5.6 was amazing and everything after just seems like it went down the drain. 5.6 felt more like where opus 5.5 is
@davidfano@theo@kentcdodds Honestly if @theo didn’t mention the source I may not have found it as I didn’t know there was a course. Plus I haven’t heard of the others who would be teaching. Trying to look into them to know who I’ll be learning from.
@davidfano@theo Honestly you are explaining why I’m considering pulling the plug. It’s a month worth and not just a few days. Plus the networking and it sounds like a long term investment (when I read the website details)
@DevvratHans@theo That also depends if the company would invest or not that amount. I’ll need to ask but I’m leaning to a no especially considering they usually only pay once you pass certificates that approved.
I’ll possibly pay out of pocket since it sounds like it might help
@theo That is easier said than done after reading what it covers plus it’s a bit steep but it’s an investment (I think) that goes beyond just a day or two. Might join in. Been saving up for a Linux box but that can wait till December
@noobbricks@formularacers_@MST_Formel1 Doesn’t change much though. People would close the gap as they’ll downgrade to previous package which is still good.
Their +.300 per lap disappears and whatever upgrade RBR and Ferrari (this weekend) brings is the real gab closer for next year
@D2Julien@effonecasualfan@tonyedwards1958 And because now they are at a disadvantage Toto came on telling Masi to please do not deploy a SC because it would interfere with the race.
AKA - it would benefit RBR and not use because we didn’t pit
@D2Julien@effonecasualfan@tonyedwards1958 Lap 35 car stopped VSC deployed. Lewis does not come in because he would his lost track position. RBR brings in Max for new tyres.
If they brought him in Max may have stayed out instead and this track has been known as a track position king usually for winning
@Ezzo_SDN@effonecasualfan He also recently said how he was trying to guide Masi that year but also was trying to protect his team. Both tried their hardest for their team by trying to manipulate Masi as much as they could that year
@Ezzo_SDN@effonecasualfan Overstepping Boundaries: Shortly after the 2021 finale, Wolff openly admitted that both he and Red Bull's Christian Horner "overstepped" by relentlessly lobbying Masi during races
