The Afroman Trial.
-Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons.
-Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up.
-No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman.
-Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras.
-Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives.
-During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat.
-The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation.
-Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit.
-Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them.
-One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife.
-As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE.
-The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman.
This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.
I agree with him at 3 but the Soto disrespect in the replies is wild to me ohtani judge 1-2 and your next tier is Witt Soto, if you really like starting pitching then skenes skubal 3-4 and Witt Soto immediately after but Soto is 100% tiered with Witt
The question now from this is where is his front foot in relation to the front of the plate. If his foot is in front of the plane of the plate it’s a ball without question
I will never understand mattingly hate, from 84-89 he was the best first baseman in baseball, mvp, and is arguably the second greatest defender the position has ever seen. It’s criminal enough he isn’t in the hall of fame but to say he shouldn’t have his # retired is asinine
@RipSays@DavidHaugh@NotMrTibbs He’s the mastermind to the astros cheating scandal and was supposedly doing similar things while he was a yankee, same logic they use with steroid guys presumably. I mean I’d vote for him but HOF voters are “purists” which is a joke they way they pick and choose some guys
@KevinCooney@Scottanderly The only issue I have with this take is Carlos Beltran is presumably the mastermind to the astros cheating scandal, hence getting fired as the Mets manager before coaching a game, so (and I ask this sincerely and respectfully) why are you ok with him cheating and not the others
Wouldn’t usually post something like this because I like to be objective but gonna make a HOF case for my dad 🙂:
- 424 saves, 7th all time on the saves list (2nd all time at the time of retirement)
- 1st all time saves leader amongst lefties
- Career ERA: 2.89 (across 21 seasons, 1245 IP)
- 23.5 WAR
- 8 seasons with 30+ saves
- 3 time NL saves leader
- 4 time All-Star
- NL record for most pitching appearances
- 1.88 ERA in the postseason, 10 strikeouts, 1 save, and 2-0 record (only 15 appearances)
Feel free to disagree if you wish, just putting it out there 🙂↕️

Paul Skenes:
Last year's ERA: 1.96
This year's ERA: 1.97
Last year's WHIP: 0.95
This year's WHIP: 0.95
Last year's BAA: .198
This year's BAA: .199
Following a trend of regression, I fear.
