Short term rentals enhance our way of life by allowing local residents to supplement their income. All STRs - owned by locals or not - feed a vital year-round economic engine for our area supporting service, retail and hospitality businesses.

I am completely in favor of sensible zoning - especially when it's meant to implement the Comprehensive Plan that was developed by the community. But the CP doesn't say anything about the existential threat of short term rentals to our rural way of life - because there isn't one.
