@FischerKing64 For me, its Mr. Erlendson for two years in Grade 4/5. He would tip desks, frisbee books/duotangs from the front of the class back to us, taught us how to play speed (card game), and when we got too rowdy he would make us run across the school to the far tennis court and back.
@Tom_In_One@BigHeadHcky@domluszczyszyn Injuries impact rankings. It's right in his post. Pro-rate Quinn's +20 for games played differential, and its up to +24, so him and Makar aren't far apart.
@ByronMBader The Canucks continued decision to pick medium floor "well-rounded with intangibles" players in the first round instead of high ceiling dynamic players will forever be their undoing.

First rounders drafted in the past 30 years that looked like Podkolzin in his draft year to become stars: 0
First rounders drafted in the past 30 years that looked like Boldy in his draft year to become stars: 7 (47%)
@MeghanChayka@HockeyAnalytics I thought the Canucks would be deflection leaders, but I may just be remembering the Kuzmenko effect from the season prior.
@AdjustedHockey It would be interesting to see this chart over the years. Were Mackinnon, McDavid, and Matthews dominant since their early 20s compared to players in their late 20s (once Crosby, Malkin, and Ovie turned 30 of course)?
Hey @NHL, the only reason I have cable is to watch hockey.
Pretty disappointing that I can't watch the most anticipated game of the year so far, Oilers vs Sharks, this evening after watching the last 3 minutes of the Canucks game after work.
Guess you don't want the viewership!
@ByronMBader Do teams over-value well-rounded prospects, especially in the 1st round?
Give me the player with dynamic game-changing talent any day that has never had to play defense growing up due to offensive skill. Teach him defense as a developing pro (assuming the hockey-sense is there)
@JFreshHockey If I'm understanding the chart correctly, Garland plays it safe?
Is JT Miller the bottom left Canuck? Wouldn't surprise me, purely based on the number of no-look backhand pass turnovers on the PP that he makes...
