IT’S SO FLUFFY!

The southern yellow bat is a year-round resident of TX that roosts in dead, hanging palm fronds. They mate in fall/winter, removing dead fronds mean removing prime roosting habitat for these fluffy critters.

Gotta blast!

The greater roadrunner can run at speeds greater than 18 mph. Their long leg bones and large muscles allow them to reach those top speeds. Their feet are also extra flexible so their toes spread and make maximum contact with the ground.
