Today we had the privilege of welcoming year 2 into church to ‘Experience Advent’ we had a wonderful time and the children shared their really thoughtful ideas, hopes and prayers. ❤️

Today, we have held our annual bag blessing service. Thank you to everyone who came along. It was lovely to see you.

We also had a really special opportunity to say a prayer for our new church school headteacher, Mrs Mason.

Please pray for Church of the Ascension, Wall Heath. As we start this new phase as a renewal church, we pray for the new worshipping communities emerging out of our work with our church school including Church Club and our informal worship community.

At St Mary, Kingswinford, as we start this new phase as a renewal church, we pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Particularly for the new worshipping communities emerging out of our work with children at Mainly Music and Singing Angels, that they will grow and flourish.

Our Church Club children loved making prayer beads today and accessorising their school bags while we discussed the meaning of the words in the Lords prayer 🙏

After an epic outdoor carol service last night with 180 people and 7 dogs we’re now in the final day before Christmas.

Our Christmas Messy Church this afternoon was a lovely opportunity for our children and parents to meet up, do crafts and talk about the true meaning of Christmas. The only criticism we had was "it's not messy enough"
