This is very much real with coffee roasted and ground on-site before getting here.
However, the occurrence is close to 0 if the beans are roasted and ground in smaller batches after arriving (rare with most supermarket coffee).
It's simply a volume problem.
did you guys know people with shellfish allergies consistently react to ground coffee because all ground coffee has a non-zero amount of ground up cockroaches which cross react with shellfish allergies
anyway that's how my boyfriend convinced me to buy whole bean
“Dad, I can’t wait to have a coffee with you when I get older.”
What my son just said.
Why is that important to me?
Cause he could have easily said, I can’t wait to have a beer or whiskey with you when I grow up.
He won’t say that though, because they never seem me drink alcohol.
I made the conscious effort to alleviate that from my life when they turned 5.
Otherwise, they would have been watching me drink booze and normalizing it into their life.
Then they would have told me, can’t wait to join you, and my drunk, clouded mind would have first pumped and said yeah boy!
Get smart.
Stop normalizing booze.
What am I drinking?
Double espresso chilled and served over a rock cube.
☕️ cheers.
Afternoon slumps are mostly a consequence of digesting your lunch.
The best way to reduce it is to take a walk right after eating (15m is ideal) to improve digestion and reduce the peak insuline spike.
Coffee obviously helps, but you already knew that.
Suck it up, down some coffee and get it done. Nobody else will build your dreams.
Coffeine is not the beast it could be if we were all full-time but we all put in our downtime into it.
